It would appear this aircraft was taken out of service around 2006 with a bad engine. Registration expired and a N-Number change took place around 2012 when the aircraft was brought out from the back of the hangar and sent for paint and a new engine. The paint got completed and the project stalled again. Around 2016 - 2017 a Penn-Yan engine was completed and made it back to the airplane. The airplane was sold as part of a business package in 2021 and the current owner flies the other 172 that was included in the business purchase. He did start to work on this airplane this year and decided that he is not interested in a project aircraft. AIRFRAME NOTES: 3591 TTAF, 55 Gallon Long Range Tanks, Extended Baggage.
