1998 Aviat Husky A-1A, N56TA, s/n # 1420, approximately 825 hours Total Time, Last annual 05/2024. THIS AIRCRAFT WAS SOLD IN JUNE 2025 AUCTION .. THE BUYER DID NOT PERFORM and the seller needs the hangar space ! Lycoming 0-360-A1P, s/n # L-36083-36A, approximately 825 hours Total Time. Engine had a previous tear down inspection in 2004 during a previous prop strike at 269.18 hours Total Time. This aircraft had a MT prop at the time of this incident. Crank has been dialed .000 after this incident. MT 2 blade prop has been purchased and is included with this project, approximately 450 hours total on this prop. Current prop was showing signs of delamination near the hub, prop was sent to MT where it was inspection drilled and approved by MT. Inspection drill hole will need to be filled according to MT standards. Highly optioned Husky including: Surefly Electric Ignition in left Mag Position, Landing Gear Stops, MicroAerodynamics VG's on wings and under horizontal, Alaskan Baby Bush Tailwheel, Power Flow Exhaust. Avionics include: Aspen EFD1000 Max PFD, Aspen AOA unlocked, Aspen Synthetic Vision unlocked, Vacuum system removed, Apareo Stratus ESG with L1/L2 Antenna, GDL51 for weather and Music, PM3000 Intercom with switch in front and rear seat for windy conditions, G2 Graphic Engine Monitor, Becker AR4201 COM, Horizon Digital Tach, Garmin 250 GPS, Garmin Aera 660 Portable GPS .. more stuff than you need in this airframe !! but nice to have. Aircraft was involved in a accident September 21, 2024 (the final report is included under the "DOCUMENTS" tab on this item.) This aircraft has some of the cleanest Log Books that I have ever seen. Well documented and organized. Engine and Airframe Logs are scanned and located under the "DOCUMENTS" tab of this item. Oil Analysis performed 2016,17,18,20 & 2023 are located in the maintenance records and show no abnormalities. This is a project and will need some work to get it back up and flying. I am not a mechanic but what I noticed is (provided for reference purposes only): Right Wing needs to be rebuilt (complete rebuild including spars), Left Wing will need nose ribs, Right Landing Gear needs to be replaced, I would figure new wing struts all the way around, rudder needs to be rebuilt, greenhouse is removed, windshield is removed, side glasses are cracked or broken (not all but some), spinner is bent, wingtip is busted up, nose cowling will need to be repaired/straightened. Other items that I know that I have missed. This is a good project for somebody that has the time. The seller has built several quality aircraft over the years that I have sold. However, he just got married and is getting ready to build a new house and does not have the time nor the patience to rebuild a aircraft and build a new house at the same time. I would STRONGLY ENCOURAGE inspection of this aircraft. It is a great project with a lot of potential !! Located at a private airstrip about 15 miles SW of Newport, Arkansas. Call today to schedule your inspection of this project and review of the logbooks.
